Nida Khan

Nida Khan is an independent journalist and producer who has worked in print, radio and TV. Her work has appeared in such diverse outlets as The Huffington Post, The New York Daily News, i24News Israel, Essence Magazine, The Women's Media Center, The Associated Press, The Grio, The Source Magazine, Alternet and more. Nida often appears on broadcasts as an expert on issues affecting the Muslim community, as well as international stories in regions such as the Middle East and South Asia. She has been featured on programs on the BBC, i24News Israel, NY1 News, 107.5 WBLS NY, BRIC TV, Sirius XM, PIX 11, Arise TV and more. Nida is a member of the production team and an on air personality for 107.5 WBLS' public affairs program 'Open Line' featuring Bob Slade, James Mtume and Bob Pickett. She previously served as a news correspondent for WRKS 98.7 Kiss FM NY, covering everything from Barack Obama's 2008 Presidential campaign to protests calling for police reform. She also worked on the station's 'The Week in Review' broadcast, and made several appearances on the nationally syndicated 'Michael Baisden Show'. She was a producer for several years on Rev. Al Sharpton's radio show 'Keepin It Real', a daily 3-hour broadcast also syndicated nationally. Nida worked as a senior news writer for several shows at Arise TV with a heavy focus on international content. She previously served as EIC of elan: The Guide to Global Muslim Culture, a magazine geared towards young Muslim professionals. She has also worked on the production end of television projects like ‘The Business of Innovation’ hosted by Mario Bartiromo at CNBC, as well as RNC coverage for WNBC News Channel 4 NY.
