Books are essential for developing children’s sense of self-confidence and empowerment, particularly for young girls. That is why Nancy Ganz writes children’s picture books to help them become empowered decision-makers, confident in their own skin. Bold TV’s Shaysayss chatted with Nancy Ganz of “Feel Good Fables” about why she writes children’s books and how they make an impact.
“Tina Searches for Her Dreams”
“Tina Searches for her Dreams” is the first book in Ganz’s “Feel Good Fables.” This twelve-book series is set to be published over the next three years by Ganz and her daughter-turned-business partner. The central message behind the first book is resiliency, courage and how every child is gifted in their own special way. There are various versions of the book with different depictions of Tina so children can see themselves as the main character.
Ganz’s mission
Each book in her series addresses an important issue for children’s growth and development, including bullying, sharing and grief. But the most important message in each book is how to help children grow up to be confident people. Ganz and her daughter also are working to donate books to children in need as part of their mission of empowerment.
