Grape seed oil, lemon juice and argon are just some of the surprising ingredients in Urban Hydration products designed for hair care, body care and home cleaning. Psyche Terry, CIO and founder of UI Global Brands, joined Bold Business to discuss her company’s key brand, Urban Hydration, and its plant-based products.
Terry shared that argon is good for frizz, lemon is good for extraction and vanilla bean and avocado oils are great moisturizers. She also said Urban Hydration’s new haircare line was born due to customer needs and demand: her team observed that customers were using the body washes in their hair, too. “They [knew] it’s good for them, so they [were] just using it all over their body,” Terry said.
