This Miss America Recovered from an Eating Disorder, Now She’s Empowering Other Women

Kirsten Haglund had many resources to help her recover from her teenage eating disorder. Now she’s fighting for people who aren’t as lucky as she was.

Haglund discussed her efforts to push for mental healthy parity legislation, the Anna Westin Act, and her charity that funds treatment for eating disorders.
