There is a saying that goes like this: “You are your worst critic.” This statement is compelling because just as someone else can easily pull you up or down, you are capable of doing the same thing. Most of the time — whether good or bad — the voices in your mind are more influential than the voices surrounding you. You are what you think: If you think you’ll be successful, then you’ll be successful. This is the idea behind the Law of Attraction.
Bold TV’s Philip Michael says the law of attraction has to do with aura. Just like a negative aura can lower the room’s atmosphere, a good aura can elevate the room’s atmosphere. The Law of Attraction states that if you change your mindset to positive thinking, you start attracting opportunities. If you think and will it, then it will come to fruition.
Michael’s Law of Attraction hacks
First, set goals. Write down 10-15 things that you want to achieve within a 12-month period. Start the statement with “I,” followed by a present tense, action verb and date. For example “I earn $100,000 a year by March 2022.” If you write down your goals every day, they will be wired into your brain, activating the Law of Attraction and revealing opportunities that you didn’t see before.
Next, visualize yourself as successful; then, picture yourself going through that journey. If you literally recreate what you want in your mind, eventually, your body will believe it. You’ll see that opportunities magically will make their way to you.
Successful entrepreneurs who believed in positivity
Many innovative people, such as Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg and Jeff Bezos, visualized themselves creating their big tech companies. They never doubted themselves, and they stayed optimistic about the work they were doing, believing in their mission to the fullest extent. Here is young Jeff Bezos optimistically speaking about Amazon in 1997.
