Bold Life - Impractical Jokers Talk New Movie, Working With Each Other and More!

Your favorite television jokesters made it to the big screen with even bigger and jaw-dropping pranks! TruTV’s Impractical Jokers released their first movie, Impractical Jokers: The Movie, and Bold Life got to chat with the pranksters about all the work they put into scaling up their pranks for their fans. We may hear an exclusive teaser or two! Check out the conversation with the funny guys themselves: Brian “Q” Quinn, James “Murr” Murray, Joe Gatto and Sal Vulcano.

Making Movie-Sized Impractical Jokes

The jokers made a hidden-camera TV show for nine years, full of outrageous dares and a lot of laughs. And the movie is everything they’ve done on a much larger scale. They’ve gone on tour for months, doing live shows. But for this road-trip movie, they were together 24 hours a day for three months. They’ve pulled small-scale pranks on each other, but the movie gave them more time, more money and more life insurance to pull off incredible pranks. They could finally pull off the “big-screen ideas” they’d been holding onto in the backs of their minds. Movie-sized secrets also means more extreme secret-keeping. Production had to keep so many secrets that sometimes the crew and cast were out of the loop. If a secret was spoiled, they had to think of an entirely new idea.

Pranksters Proud of Their Work on the Big Screen

Making the movie was a challenge, but the jokers are proud of the work they’ve accomplished with their team. They’ve put blood, sweat and their life on the line. (They hinted at one of the guys coming a little too close to a tiger!) But it was all worth it for a highly anticipated film that will keep people laughing. Check out what the jokers had to say in the interview with Bold TV!
