CEO of Ad Agency Talks Spreading Positive Message

15

Have you seen those viral commercials for Poo-Pourri and Squatty Potty? They are the work of the Harmon Brothers ad agency. Their clients’ ads have been seen over 1.4 billion times and have driven over $350 million in sales. This agency knows the power of captivating ad campaigns. Now, they want to share their skills with companies, entrepreneurs and products struggling during the COVID-19 lockdowns. They’re giving away a $100K video marketing campaign. The Poop to Gold Giveaway goes to a business helping people in this time of need. Finalists will be announced soon. Benton Crane, CEO of Harmon Brothers, talks to Bold TV about the giveaway and why it matters.

Using the power of the web

The purpose of Harmon Brothers is to make companies succeed online. Companies, entrepreneurs and products that have online operations can thrive in a time of lockdowns. People easily can find their operations with the click of a button. Social distancing doesn’t hinder their success. But not every business model works for the web. Many of these models are struggling to stay afloat. Government programs aren’t always sufficient to keep the doors open and lights on. So this giveaway will use the power of the internet to help a business thrive. Because Harmon Brothers has such an impressive track record, the campaign has the ability to go viral.

Spreading a positive message

The Poop to Gold Giveaway is aimed at finding people in business who are solving real problems for real people. They want the message of hope to reach the masses. And people can follow the journey behind the scenes. Once they announce the grand prize winner, they’ll release updates every week on Facebook and YouTube. For six weeks, the Harmon Brothers team will write, produce and edit the ad while documenting the process. Seeing a company go from “poop to gold” will inspire other businesses to keep going.
