Building your own training empire

No one just wakes up to a customer base full of A-List celebs and athletes. So how did Peterson do it? He was in the right ZIP code at the right time: 90210. Apparently, word gets around in Beverly Hills. There are a few essentials in the personal training business. First, you need people to know they can trust you. Peterson has been training people for 30 years. Over those three decades, he’s proven to clients that he’s safe and gets results. Earning trust grows your network as people tell their friends (and then they tell their friends). Second, decide to make personal training a career and not a side job. If you want to make change in the fitness industry and help a lot of people, take it seriously.

Free fitness advice from an expert

Since the NBA season was cancelled, the trainers worked hard to help players stay in shape. But since you don’t have a staff of expert trainers at your service, how can you stay fit?

  • Re-evaluate your diet. Get rid of the snacks in your pantry! Make sure you get enough protein and supplementation. Peterson suggests MitoQ, which takes care of your system on a molecular level.

  • Make sure you’re getting your sleep. Your recovery protocol is essential to your fitness. Trainers are only responsible for your time in the gym. The rest is up to you!
  • Create an exercise plan. Remember the number three. Try to move in all three planes of motion: sagittal, frontal and transverse. And try to work your core, upper body and lower body.

These tips won’t make you an all-star point guard, but they may help with daily activities like taking the stairs. If you’re interested in more health advice, check this out!
