It has been one of the craziest years that we have had in a while. Back in February, before the pandemic had hit U.S. shores, we launched the first-ever episode of Bold Life. We have had some incredible guests from Teddy Riley to Rebecca Minkoff. It was hard to choose, but we have the top five best moments of Bold Life for the 2020 year. Host Oni Higgins sat down to give us an incredible summary of some of the top interview moments of 2020.

1. Teddy Riley Hints At Biopic, Talks Music Industry And ‘Verzuz’ Battle

Teddy Riley is a Grammy award-winning musician who created the New Jack Swing genre. New Jack Swing was popular from the ’80s until the ’90s. And it’s known for influencing the sounds of R&B, Hip-Hop, Pop and others. Bold Life got a chance to chat with Riley about his Verzuz battle, career and more.

2. Vivica A. Fox on Building a Brand, Latest Book, and More

Bold Life’s Zayna Allen had the pleasure to speak with Vivica A. Fox about her career and her latest projects! In this thoughtful conversation, Fox discussed her book Hustling, her role in the new film Arkansas, starting a hair brand and more!

3. Blaque Reflects On 20 Years Of ‘Bring It On’, Hints At Book & Documentary

2020 marked the 20th anniversary of the iconic movie Bring It On. Nothing compares to the original rivalry between the Rancho Carne Toros and the East Compton Clovers. Brandi Williams and Shamari DeVoe, the members of the late-90s singing group Blaque, joined Bold Life to discuss the 20th anniversary and reflect on moments they shared on set.

4. Make Vegan “Meat” at Home

Bold Life’s Oni Higgins spoke with Angela Yvonne, the founder of Vegan Pop Eats, to give us some vegan meat alternatives! When something is vegan, it means that it has absolutely no animal product in it whatsoever. Yes, that even includes the smallest bit of butter. No worries; Yvonne and Higgins have got all our questions covered

5. The New and Improved NYFW

With the endless struggles of 2020, the fashion industry was one of many having to do some readjusting in order to be successful. Their shows and designs are famous worldwide, so simply not having NYFW was out of the question. Bold Life’s very own Justin Crawford hit the state-of-the-art Rebecca Minkoff show to update us on how they pulled this year’s fashion week off.
