Internet sensations Diamond and Silk joined Bold TV to discuss the controversy over Facebook censoring their videos. In a passionate exchange, Clay Aiken challenged the ladies, saying that his success after losing American Idol didn’t come from playing the victim.
See Clay’s comment below:
“But you know what, you know what? Really, I gotta say this. You know what, people asked me for years after I lost Idol, why they thought I was successful. And I’ll tell you, I think a big part of it was I lost Idol and I didn’t come off the show and start talking about the show being rigged. I didn’t say that Ruben won unfairly, and I should have won. I didn’t say that after my campaign in North Carolina.
I lost fair and square on Idol and I didn’t start blaming the other side for me losing. And I think it really gets [tiring] to hear people start complaining about conservative censorship, and how people in the media are liberal, the media is left wing and all these people are censoring conservatives.
You know we sat here on this show today — the biggest headline in the entire country right now is James Comey and the book and the accusations…We haven’t mentioned it one time on this show, so there is bias on both sides. I’m not arguing that there is not bias; I’m saying there is bias on both sides — I’m saying, ‘Play the game and stop bitching about the rules.'”
