1-800Accountant CEO: The ‘Millennial Generation Is Going To Surprise a Lot of People’

“They get a bad rap of not necessarily wanting to work hard, but we’re not seeing that — we’re seeing millennials start more businesses than any generation,” Mike Savage told Bold Business.

Savage is the founder and CEO of 1-800Accountant, and he joined us to discuss the recent tax cuts passed by Congress and signed by President Donald Trump, which led to a conversation about millennials in business. Since the tax cuts, Savage said he has seen “a huge influx of people starting businesses.” Savage said he believes the tax cuts resonate with entrepreneurs and added that entrepreneurs feel like the government is no longer an enemy. “It’s a nice feeling of support…a true partnership,” Savage said.
