How To Vacation During A Pandemic

The global pandemic has drastically changed traveling requirements and restrictions. David Grasso and Julia Sun from Bold TV discuss the challenges of traveling during the time of COVID-19. Going on a plane, bus, or even Ubers is a huge question mark for everyone right now. People have become very wary of traveling. You never know the number of cases or if your safety is going to be at risk from those who refuse to wear a mask.

Following the necessary guidelines

As the coronavirus is still infecting people around the world, make sure that you are sticking to the quarantine guidelines when traveling. Wear a mask and practice social distancing. Within the United States, about 30 states require you to self-quarantine or to quarantine with your family for 14 days before you can go out and explore. If you want to travel across the country, make sure to choose a country that is accepting Americans and other tourists since many nations around the world have some travel restrictions in place.

Vacation close to home

Before the pandemic, people loved to flock to big cities when they traveled. But now, the call of the great outdoors is strong as it presents less risk of contracting COVID-19. So, instead of being stuck in your homes feeling like you can’t do anything, now is a great time for you and your friends or family to go on a hike or do outdoor activities. If you are planning on traveling or going somewhere close, try going to vacation homes. You can even try RVs, boats and camping. It is always a good time to take a nice road trip with either your friends or family. And activities that are more outdoors help because you aren’t confined in one place. Even a day trip may help you recover from the non-traveling blues going on around the world.
