Bold TV: Should the Voting Age Be Lowered to 16?
“We have a trend in this country of treating young people very delicately and like they are in constant danger, but then when it comes to voting they want to let 16 year olds vote,” said Julie Gunlock from Independent Women’s Forum. Gunlock spoke to Bold TV about Rep. Ayanna Pressley’s (D-Mass.) proposal to lower the voting age to 16. The proposal failed in the House, 305-126.
