Although most of us do not remember much about the year we were born, our birth year sticks with us. We like to know what the world was like when we came into it. It’s also fun to learn what we have in common with famous celebrities.
This week, the team at PrettyFamous, part of the Graphiq network, discovered the most famous actor or actress born each year, dating back to 1900. To find the most famous celebrities of the past century, PrettyFamous determined who had the highest “Actor Score,” a score from 1-100 which accounts for the following figures:
Then, we organized the list by birth year, beginning with 1900. In case of a tie, the most famous actor or actress is the one with more Wikipedia page views over the 30-day period. From 1900 to 2000, we’ve found the most famous celebrity. Find out which star shares your birth year, and the Oscar winners born in the 1930s that are still in the spotlight today.
Note: Some of stars have dabbled in multiple mediums such as singing and directing, but they all have had prominent roles as actors or actresses.
