After a month of investigations and Twitter tirades from President Donald Trump, comedian Teresa Sheffield, took to the streets of Manhattan to see if there is a — to quote the president — a “witch hunt” out for Trump.

Trump has tweeted multiple times about a “witch hunt” in response to the investigation of Russian government efforts to influence the 2016 presidential election and related matters.

Throughout the past couple months, President Trump has repeatedly dismissed the investigation by labeling it as a “witch hunt,” operating on unfounded and ludicrous claims.
Determined to uncover the truth about the “witch hunt” claims, Teresa Sheffield — sister of our very own founder Carrie Sheffield — walked the streets while dressed in a witch costume to see how everyday New Yorkers felt about the investigation. Sheffield said she was, “…pretty sure our President is a witch,” in light of his many “witch hunt” comments. Displaying visuals of burning witches at the stake, Sheffield tapped into her dry and witty sense of humor to poke fun at the President’s claim.
Sheffield has previously satirized the President, for example, tweeting a poll asking, “How is Trump going to try to distract from Comey’s testimony this week?”

When Dems attempt humor, they always revert back to junior high. Maybe that’s because petulance and funny don’t mix.

Sheffield is a conservative. She’s a real one, not like the modern GOP/Tea Party hybrids who fancy themselves the only true Americans. They left conservatism behind in the Gingrich era. Damn shame.
