Seventeen people lost their lives this Wednesday at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. In light of this event, the subject of gun control has been raised once again. We will close the show with our Bookstr segment, featuring Roseann Lake, author of “Leftover in China: The Women Shaping the World’s Next Superpower.” Her new book focuses on how the one-child policy enacted in China forty years ago lead to a generation of “only-daughters”and the effect it had on these women.
