Child lock for your phone
How does Lockitz! keep little hands out? When you know you’ll be leaving your phone, turn on the app, lock your phone and set it down. As soon as a child picks it up, they will see one of three “fun screens.” Lockitz! offers as many buttons as their little heart desires, so they will stay entertained. You don’t have to worry because the app won’t allow access to your passcode screen or anything else inside your phone. So, how do adults get out of the child lock? Hidden on the screen is a tiny, secret escape button. When Lefkowitz first saw the app design, she didn’t even know the button was there!
A mom’s advice for entrepreneurs
We know that moms are already superheroes. How can they juggle entrepreneurship, too? Lefkowitz had no previous experience in app development. None of her friends or family members knew about the business either. Where do we go with our questions? The internet!
