Teen Mom to Wall St. to Publicist. Danielle Sabrina’s Unique Edge.

You’ve probably never heard of someone from Wall Street making the jump to celebrity publicist—that is, until now. Danielle Sabrina has proven herself a force to be reckoned with. She dropped out of high school to take on the challenges of being a teen mom. Later, she started knocking on the doors of Wall Street and became one of the youngest traders at just 19. Now, she’s running her own top-tier PR firm and was crowned one of the Female Entrepreneurs of The Year by Stevie Awards. How did she do it?

A bit of business advice: Persistence is key!

Sabrina’s persistence and determination helped her get a foot in the door at a brokerage firm. And it provided her the opportunity to take the Series 7 exam, which at the time was the third hardest exam in the United States. If she passed the test, she would be a trader. Spoiler: She did! For the first time in her life, she believed she could do anything—a belief she still carries today.

From Wall Street to entrepreneurship

What made Sabrina leap from Wall Street to entrepreneurship? Intuition! She was quickly promoted through Wall Street, eventually landing the responsibility of growing broker deals. In time, she realized her great ability to grow a company’s revenue. So, she decided to make the move from Wall Street to the world of celebrities.

Business intuition has brought Sabrina a long way from her uncertain teenage years. And the knowledge she gained from Wall Street easily applied to brand management, leadership and media publicity. Sabrina was way ahead of the game when she made the switch—She was helping to create influencers before influencers were even a thing!

How is Tribe Builder Media different from other PR agencies?

Sabrina’s award-winning boutique PR firm, Tribe Builder Media, is unique because of the training she provides. Her background gave her an in-depth understanding of what audiences feel. And she demonstrates that combining business development with celebrity culture is, in fact, a powerful dynamic.

In a culture that relies so heavily on social media and media publicity, Sabrina lends a massive helping hand to those in the entertainment industry who want to make it big. But she’s also emerged as an inspiration to young folks uncertain about their future.
